For anyone playing this game PLEASE keep your volume turned extremely low. The jumpscare sound is so unbelievably loud it actually hurt both mine and my friend's ears when it happened. I reflexively ripped my headphones off and even holding them away from me it was too loud. Its a really cool game and the monster design is fantastic, but I literally have to take breaks from writing this to massage my right ear. Ripping the game open into the editor shows this solid brick of a waveform. Its still loud even at -40db. Inexcusable.
Not my style, but definately a unique concept and asthetic. My only gripe was that the jumpscare was way too loud. I also dont really get how you are supposed to avoid the monster since he moves when you do but maybe i just didnt figure it out yet.(through, if i can make a reccomandation, i think the reverse could create a cool dynamic where you have to run while blind to escape him and he catchs up a little each time you open your eyes to see where you' re going.)
Thank you by your feedback! Once the jam is over I'll correct the jumpscare sound; About the monster difficulty, I didn't know if it was hard or easy, so I will correct it too.
